Raised by a mother with a brilliant eye for gardening and design, my love for arranging flowers blossomed at an early age. My family is from the Garden District of New Orleans with its romantic oak-lined streets, shimmering gas lanterns and the air fragrant with rose and jasmine. 

I spent many days with my mom roaming the neighborhood, peeking through wrought-iron fences that surrounded enchanting homes – just to catch a glimpse of those hidden gardens nestled in courtyards, each bursting with whimsy and charm. As a young girl, it was like getting lost inside of a fairytale. One that has stayed with me to this day.

Prior to launching Garden District Designs, I spent nearly a decade running the social impact and philanthropy program at the global technology company Snap Inc. When my mom passed away after a three-year battle with Alzheimer's, I decided to take a step back and pursue my lifelong dream of opening a flower shop.

So this is my way of bringing a touch of magic and charm –  like my mom and I found in those secret gardens of New Orleans – directly to your home (or event) in Southern California and beyond.
